This policy explains what personal data DomCop collects, why, who else handles it and what you can do about it. We collect what is needed to run an expired-domain search service and nothing more: no advertising networks, no tracking pixels, no sale of data.
The Service at https://www.domcop.com is operated by Axeman Technology Solutions LLP, 502 B Anisha Apartments, Yari Road, Versova, Mumbai 400061, Maharashtra, India. Axeman Technology Solutions LLP is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at support@domcop.com.
Account data. Your e-mail address and a hashed password when you register; your name and time zone if you enter them; the plan you subscribe to and the dates of your access.
Billing data. Subscriptions are sold by FastSpring, our reseller and merchant of record. FastSpring collects your payment details and billing address under its own privacy policy; it shares with us your name, e-mail address, country, the plan bought, order and subscription identifiers, amounts and dates. We never see your card number.
Your settings and work. Saved searches and their e-mail digest settings, watchlists and groups, exclude lists, column layouts, exports you request and the crawl jobs you create, including the websites, keywords and domains you enter for them. If you link an Ahrefs account, we store the access token Ahrefs gives us so that we can fetch your Ahrefs data; you can unlink it at any time from your account page and the token is deleted.
Session and log data. When you use the Service we record the IP address, browser (user agent), the time of each sign-in and the pages and searches requested, in our web-server logs and in the sessions list on your account page, which lets you see and sign out other devices. We count the rows each account views and exports per day to enforce our fair-use limits.
Correspondence. E-mails you send to support and the messages you send through the contact form.
We have no mobile application, do not collect precise location, do not use advertising or analytics networks, and do not buy data about you from anyone.
We share personal data only with the providers we need to run the Service, each bound by its own privacy terms:
The domain names and metrics you search are not personal data and are fetched from providers such as Moz, Majestic, SEMrush, Estibot, Keywords Everywhere, Open PageRank and the Internet Archive without any reference to you. We disclose personal data to authorities only when the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
We are based in India and our servers and processors are in the United States and the European Union. Where the law of your country requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on our processors' standard contractual clauses and equivalent commitments.
We set only the cookies needed to run the site: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, a security token that protects forms, a "remember me" cookie if you tick that box, and a short-lived cookie that carries a promotion code from a link you clicked. Google reCAPTCHA sets its own cookie on the pages where it runs. We use no advertising or analytics cookies. Blocking cookies in your browser will stop you from staying signed in.
All traffic to the Service is encrypted, passwords are stored only as salted hashes, access to our servers is restricted to the people who run the Service, and backups are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will tell you as the law requires.
You can see and change your name, time zone, e-mail preferences and password on your account page, change your e-mail address with re-verification, manage your saved searches and watchlists, sign out other devices from the sessions page and cancel your subscription. For a copy of your data, a correction, deletion of your account, or to object to or restrict a use described above, e-mail support@domcop.com from the address on your account and we will answer within thirty days. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another country with a supervisory authority, you also have the right to complain to it.
The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has an account, tell us and we will remove it.
We will post changes on this page and update the date below. For material changes we will e-mail members before the change takes effect.
