How a .now name drops
- Expiry: the registrar can renew the name for up to 45 days (the auto-renew grace period). Most registrars auction it or list it for sale during this window.
- Redemption: the name is then held for 30 days in which only the previous owner can restore it, at a fee.
- Pending delete: 5 more days with no way back, then the name drops and anyone can register it. Backorder services race for it at the drop.
SEO notes for .now
.now is a generic extension: Google does not tie it to a country, so you can geo-target a site on it to any market in Search Console, or leave it global.
Of the .now names Majestic has scored, 2% carry Trust Flow 10 or more and 0% reach 20. 0% of the list is flagged for a spammy or adult name; the spam filters (TF/CF ratio, anchor text, language) catch most of the rest before you bid.

How do I buy an expiring .now domain?
Bid in the registrar auction where the name is listed (Namecheap, DynaDot), buy it at the fixed price when it has one, or place a backorder so a drop-catching service registers it for you the moment it drops. Every row on DomCop links to the listing and shows the metrics before you spend anything.
How often is the .now list updated?
New listings and drop lists are loaded through the day and the metrics (Majestic, Moz, Ahrefs, Open PageRank, SEMrush and more) are fetched as each name arrives; availability is re-checked on a ladder after a listing ends.
How many .now domains are expiring right now?
164 .now names are in the list at the moment, 31 of them ending in the next 24 hours.
There wasn't a website which would give me all the information I wanted until I came across DomCop. DomCop is a real timesaver for me as everything is in one place and I have no reason to spend a long time trying to find high value expiring domains anymore.
