.pics is the generic TLD for photography and images. It launched in 2014 in the Uniregistry portfolio and is now part of the XYZ Registry family of extensions.
Anyone can register a .pics name. Photographers, image galleries and stock sites use it, and expired .pics names often have links from the photos that were shared from them.
